A 19th century burr walnut writing table or bonher-de-jour. Beautiful choice of butterfly veneers. The whole is strung with boxwood and crossbanded in king wood. Pierced ormolu gallery and handles. Original leather writing surface. The superstructure in an arrangement of drawers and pigeon holes, which is constructed as a separate piece. Super quality, colour and condition c1870.
