A king size polychrome and parcel gilt bed

A beautiful 19th century carved wooden  5 ft wide bed frame. Carved wood with original cream paint and parcel gilding. The fine needlepoint tapestry that covers the bed head is around 100 years old and in lovely unmarked condition.The bed is around 170 years old and again in lovely condition. This bed requires a 5' x  30 cm deep mattress. Purchased locally from a fine Manor House where the bed will have been insitu for decades and well cared for. French c1830
