A large oak gate leg dining table

A large late 17th century gateleg dining table to seat 8. Super choice of timber for the top which is constructed from thick wide boards and  has a medium brown, rich  waxed patination. The top benefits from rule joints and has oak pegs securing it to its original base. The base has double drawers and very well turned legs and stretchers. Original iron hinges. This is a lovely substantial table that has clearly been well cared for during its 340 years. English c1680
