Japanese bronze sculpture

A Japanese okimono, of fine quality casting. The bird of prey poised over a rather startled looking money at the base of the sculpture. The wings are scat in separate sections and held in place by tiny bronze pegs. A beautifully balanced sculpture with a different look from every angle. Well  patinated original surface. C1900.
