Pair of bamboo stands

A pair of late 19th century Chinese bamboo stands. Lovely original condition, both decorative and useful. There is no glue used in the construction of these stands, small bamboo pegs secure the individual elements. Make an atttractive pair of stands for display or lighting. The bamboo has taken on a good mellow patina that has been enhance by a clear wax. C1900
